Paired Inclined Lifts for a Shelter in Lutsk

COMPLETED PROJECT • LUTSK

Two inclined lifts for an accessible shelter route

ASPAR manufactured and installed two paired electromechanical inclined lifts in Lutsk for a narrow, uneven descent to a shelter. The route has two stair flights and an intermediate landing, so the system works as two coordinated sequential sections.

PROJECT TASK

Provide passage through a complex stair descent

The route to the shelter follows a narrow, uneven descent. It has two separate stair flights with an intermediate landing, so one direct inclined lift would not fit the actual geometry.

The objective was an accessible route following the real travel sequence: first flight, intermediate landing and second flight. The equipment also had to fit the narrow space and provide clear movement to shelter level.

ASPAR ENGINEERING SOLUTION

Two paired platforms instead of an assumed straight route

ASPAR manufactured two inclined lifts with electromechanical drive. Each serves its own stair section and has a 150 kg rated load. Steel structures provide the system base, while aluminium platforms are the working movement elements.

The first lift travels to the intermediate landing; after transfer, the second lift continues along the following flight. This paired logic follows the real descent geometry rather than assuming one continuous straight flight.

MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION

Integrating two lifts with the flights and landing

ASPAR produced the equipment for the actual descent and installed two lifts on the two stair flights. The intermediate landing became the necessary link between the two route sections.

Each lift structure works within its own stair zone, and the landing provides transfer between them. This suits the narrow, uneven layout without changing the basic geometry of access.

HOW IT WORKS

Travel to the shelter in two stages

The user travels on the first lift to the intermediate landing, transfers to the second section and continues along the next flight to shelter level. The two-stage arrangement works with the real shape of the stairs and landing.

RESULT

An accessible route to the shelter

The Lutsk site now has an accessible route through a complex stair descent. The two electromechanical inclined lifts operate as one sequential system, with the intermediate landing joining them into a complete route to the shelter.

FAQ

Questions about inclined lifts

Can a route with two stair flights be completed?

Yes. This project uses two inclined lifts with a transfer at the intermediate landing.

Why was one straight lift not used?

The descent has two flights, an intermediate landing, and a narrow uneven geometry.

What is the rated load?

Each lift has a 150 kg rated load.

What materials are used?

The structures are steel and the platforms are aluminium.
