Pallet handling across three levels of a textile production facility
For a fabric and textile products manufacturer in Kamianske, ASPAR designed and installed an external hydraulic goods lift with an 800 kg capacity. The structure was adapted to the site constraints using a modular cantilever frame and special adjustable wall supports.
Design an external lift for a site with installation constraints
The facility required a goods lift to move pallets of fabric and finished textile products vertically between three building levels.
The required capacity was 800 kg, the vertical travel was 12 metres, and the 1300×1000 mm platform had to match the pallet dimensions.
The building presented structural and installation constraints, so a standard solution without adaptation was unsuitable. The equipment had to be positioned outside and its supporting structure securely connected to the existing wall.
A modular cantilever frame with 3,500 mm sections and adjustable wall supports
ASPAR developed an external goods lift structure with a modular cantilever frame assembled from 3,500 mm sections. This configuration allowed the supporting system to be adapted to the actual site conditions.
The structure was secured to the wall using special adjustable supports. They allowed the guide system to be accurately aligned along the facade.
The vertical hydraulic goods lift was equipped with a 1300×1000 mm pallet platform and three stops over 12 metres of travel.
A pallet transport route across three production levels
The facility now has a hydraulic goods lift designed to move pallets weighing up to 800 kg between three stops.
The external installation, modular structure and adjustable wall supports made it possible to integrate the lift with the existing building while accommodating the site constraints.
The project demonstrates ASPAR’s approach to non-standard requirements: each equipment structure is designed around the load, building geometry and actual installation conditions.
ASPAR goods lifts
Goods lift parameters are selected according to the required capacity, platform size, travel height, number of stops and site conditions.
Questions about industrial goods lifts
Can a goods lift be installed outside a building?
An external installation is possible when the lift structure, attachment points and operating conditions are addressed in the design. In this project, the equipment was installed along the facade and secured to the wall with special adjustable supports.
Can the platform size be adapted to a pallet?
Yes. The platform size is selected according to the load dimensions and loading conditions. A 1300×1000 mm platform was used for this textile production facility in Kamianske.
Why use a modular supporting structure?
A modular structure allows the arrangement to be adapted to the actual height and installation constraints of the site. For this project, the cantilever frame was assembled from 3,500 mm sections.
What information is required to calculate a goods lift?
Preliminary selection requires the type and weight of the load, preferred platform dimensions, travel height, number of stops, installation location, photographs and any available drawings of the building.
Need a goods lift for your production facility?
Send us the load parameters, travel height, number of stops, photographs or drawings. ASPAR engineers will propose a configuration and prepare a quotation.
