A system of four inclined stair platform lifts was delivered at a lyceum in Kryvyi Rih for people with disabilities and other people with reduced mobility. The equipment is located in the central stair area.
Create an accessible route on the central stairs
The lyceum needed a way for people who cannot independently use the stairs to move through the central stair area. The solution had to work within the existing geometry of the flights and landings.
An indoor multi-flight stair area
The supplied photos and video show an indoor staircase with several flights and intermediate landings. The guideways run alongside the stairs, while the folded platforms sit near the boarding areas.
