ASPAR UWS-H Underground Waste System for a Residential Complex in Lviv

COMPLETED PROJECT • LVIV

An underground container system for a residential complex

For a residential complex in Lviv, ASPAR delivered a four-container UWS-H series underground waste system. The solution combines hydraulic platform lifting for service, stainless and galvanized steel construction, a service hatch, and a controlled container-fill workflow.

PROJECT TASK

Organise waste collection without overloading the courtyard space

The residential complex needed a household-waste collection point that would not visually dominate the courtyard while remaining practical for daily use and service. For this type of site, the appearance of the collection area is only one consideration: the solution also needs controlled access to containers, a clear operating routine, and technical access to the equipment.

ASPAR delivered a UWS-H series underground waste system. It provides an organised place for four containers and locates the main volume of the system below the landscaped surface, while keeping functional user elements at ground level.

ASPAR ENGINEERING SOLUTION

A UWS-H underground platform for four containers

The core of the solution is an underground platform that raises the container block for servicing by means of a hydraulic drive. The construction uses stainless and galvanized steel, a suitable approach for equipment that is partly integrated below the level of the collection area.

The UWS-H series includes a service hatch for technical access. The operator monitors container fill levels; when a relevant container is full, its pedals lock. This helps align use of the system with the actual availability of each container.

MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION

Integrating the system into the residential complex landscaping

ASPAR completed the system for this Lviv site. The underground part creates the space for the containers, while the above-ground components support everyday use. For technical service, the platform is moved to its working position by the hydraulic drive, providing access to the container block.

The service hatch is a purpose-built part of the construction for servicing the system. This arrangement combines the everyday waste-collection function with the need to keep the residential complex environment orderly.

HOW IT WORKS

Everyday use and service access

Residents use the ground-level elements of the system to place waste into the appropriate containers. The operator monitors fill levels. When an individual container is full, its pedals lock so that waste is not directed into an already full compartment.

The container block is serviced through hydraulic platform lifting. The service hatch provides the intended constructional access to the system. Separating day-to-day use from service operations makes the solution suitable for a residential complex.

06
RESULT

An organised waste-collection point within the residential complex

The Lviv site now operates an ASPAR UWS-H underground system for four containers. It organises waste collection within the residential-complex landscape, provides hydraulic service access to the container block, and uses a managed container-fill routine.

FAQ

Common questions about underground container systems

What task is an underground container system designed for?

It is used where waste collection must be organised within a landscaped area while the container block is positioned below ground level.

How many containers are included in this project?

The completed Lviv system is arranged for four containers.

How is the container block serviced?

For service operations, the platform is raised by a hydraulic drive and the construction includes a service hatch.

How are container fill levels managed?

The operator monitors fill levels. The pedals for the relevant container lock after it becomes full.
