Which type of equipment the customer needs
The same search term can refer to different products. If the task is to move a person between levels at an entrance or inside a building, an accessibility platform is assessed. If a medical device for moving a patient or a rehabilitation machine is needed, that is a different equipment category and this page does not cover the request.

Two main building scenarios
Travel between levels on a separate path
This task calls for assessment of a vertical platform. The level difference, landing zones, available dimensions, boarding direction and space for guards or other configuration elements must be checked.
Travel along the stairs
If there is no separate vertical path, an inclined platform is assessed. Straight and turning routes require different inputs, so every flight and intermediate landing must be shown.
Different solutions for different stakeholders

- Architect: coordinate space, levels and equipment integration within the design.
- Contractor: check site readiness and work sequence.
- Rehabilitation facility: separate building-access equipment from internal medical equipment.
