Lifting height and platform dimensions are determined from the customer’s technical brief, site conditions and engineering calculations. The required load, height, geometry and duty cycle are assessed together. These options do not imply unlimited capacity or height, or that parameters can be combined arbitrarily.
Structure and configuration
Single-post and twin-post arrangements are available, with installation in a shaft or on a self-supporting steel frame without a shaft. A large platform may require an opposing support post or a twin-post arrangement, depending on load, dimensions and engineering calculations. An opposing support post is not necessarily a second driven mast. A through-loading platform, doors, enclosure, push-button stations, frequency inverter, corrosion-resistant or stainless-steel construction are agreed for the specific project.
