The ASPAR vertical wheelchair lift with transforming stairs combines pedestrian stair access with travel between levels for a wheelchair user. In stair mode, the structure provides a pedestrian route; after transformation, it forms a lifting platform. This is ASPAR’s own development for sites that need both functions in the same location.
Technical specifications
- Load capacity: From 250 kg, depending on configuration
- Lifting height: Up to 1295 mm, depending on configuration
- Internal platform width: 700–1000 mm
- Internal platform length: 900–1800 mm
- Configuration: Combination of load capacity, lifting height and platform dimensions specified in the agreed technical brief
Stairs and a lifting platform in one structure
The solution retains a stair route while providing for a wheelchair user to travel between the lower and upper levels. The stairs and platform operate in different modes. Selection takes account of the available space, entry and exit directions and pedestrian circulation.
A solution for your site
For a refurbishment, we assess the existing stairs, doors, level difference and approach space. For a new project, the structure can be positioned as part of the entrance layout and the user’s route. For public and private properties, we consider frequency of use, access to controls and assistance requirements. Indoor or outdoor installation conditions are defined in the technical brief.
Choosing the specifications
Load capacity is selected to account for the combined weight of the user, wheelchair and any other intended load. Platform dimensions are selected to suit the wheelchair and entry arrangement. The stated ranges cover different configurations: the specific combination of lifting height, width, length and load capacity is agreed for each project. Internal platform dimensions are not the overall installation dimensions of the structure.
Information needed to develop your solution
Send photos or a site plan, the level difference, available width and length and door positions. Include wheelchair dimensions, required load capacity, frequency of use and operating conditions. We use this information to develop the layout, controls, equipment configuration and installation requirements.
Pricing and configuration
Pricing depends on the agreed specifications, layout and installation conditions. Call us or email your requirements to discuss a solution for your site. ASPAR «Світ без бар’єрів».
