Mast Freight Lifts
A mast freight lift moves goods, raw materials and equipment between levels in a warehouse or production facility. ASPAR selects a single-mast or twin-mast configuration based on the load weight and dimensions, travel height, number of stops and installation conditions.
Single-mast and twin-mast goods lifts
Choose a single-mast or twin-mast structure according to load weight and dimensions, platform geometry and fixing conditions. The number of masts, guides and installation arrangement are determined after assessing the load and site. A non-standard travel height, platform or loading arrangement calls for individual selection, rather than a separate product type.
Structure and drive type
The drive is selected separately: hydraulic, wire-rope with an electric hoist, or chain. An acceptable combination depends on capacity, operating regime, structure and site conditions. These are design options, not a guarantee that ready-made mechanisms are interchangeable. Travel, platform dimensions, stops and configuration are agreed in the technical brief and confirmed by engineering calculation.
How to choose a mast freight lift for a warehouse
Start with the route: what needs to be lifted, between which levels and how goods will be loaded and unloaded. For loaded pallets, provide the overall dimensions and maximum weight, including the pallet and its load. Initial selection requires:
- load weight, dimensions and type;
- travel height and number of stops;
- required platform dimensions and loading directions;
- an installation plan, photos and site measurements;
- details of available supporting structures and power supply;
- operating conditions and frequency of use.
Further applications and selection criteria are covered in solutions for warehouses and logistics.
Specifications and site-specific installation
Load capacity, travel height, platform dimensions, number of stops and power supply are determined from the selected model's specifications and the technical brief. Mast attachment to the facade or supporting structures is assessed using site plans and measurements. Doors, guards, loading directions and outdoor installation are agreed for the specific site.
A through-loading platform, automated doors, a frequency converter and other options are specified only where needed and compatible with the agreed technical solution. Guarding and interlocks are defined in the project design; the absence of a full shaft does not mean that moving parts may remain accessible. The goods configurations in this section do not provide for carrying people or a person accompanying the load on the platform.
Installation and commissioning requirements can be discussed through the lifting equipment installation and dismantling service.
Questions about mast freight lifts
What load capacity does a mast freight lift have?
Capacity depends on the selected model and configuration. Check the specifications of the individual product and provide the maximum load weight and dimensions for selection.
What determines the price of a mast freight lift?
The quotation is prepared for the agreed configuration, taking into account the required capacity, travel height, platform, stops, equipment options and installation conditions.
What power supply is required?
Power requirements are specified for the individual model and agreed configuration. Provide the available site power supply so that connection requirements can be assessed.
Is maintenance required?
Yes. Inspection procedures and frequency are determined for the specific equipment, taking account of its technical documentation and operating conditions.
Send the initial details and installation-site photos to discuss equipment selection and a quotation.
